Description
Our kindling is Ready to Burn certified with an average moisture content under 20% (typically around 18%). Each piece of kiln-dried kindling measures roughly 6–8 inches in length and is about the thickness of your thumb - thin enough to catch quickly, yet substantial enough to maintain a steady flame. The low moisture content ensures your fire lights easily and burns efficiently.
All our orders include free delivery to Sheffield, Chesterfield and Hope Valley. On rainy days, we provide a complimentary rain poncho to keep your kindling and logs dry during transport.
Each year, we make a point of sourcing a portion of our firewood for kindling from the Peak District National Park and the National Trust. All our wood is dried in our solar-powered kiln, which runs on battery stores over the winter months.
