Description

Our extra-large bags of kindling are Ready to Burn certified with an average moisture content below 20% (typically around 18%). Our kindling is around 6-8 inches long and about the thickness of your thumb - it’s thin enough to light quickly and easily while being large enough to sustain a flame. Its low moisture content also helps it ignite quickly and burn efficiently. 

All our orders include free delivery to Sheffield, Chesterfield and Hope Valley. Our kindling and logs are delivered with a complimentary rain poncho on rainy days to ensure they always stay dry.

Every year, we try to source a portion of the firewood that we use in our kindling bags from the Peak Park or the National Trust each year. All our kindling and firewood is dried in our solar-powered kiln, which is powered by battery stores over the winter months. So, when you purchase kiln-dried kindling or firewood from Westdale Logs, you can be sure you’re making an eco-friendly decision!
